Aquatic Fitness

*Aqua Conditioning - Build muscle strength and burn fat with this non-impact intense thorough total body workout.  A

AquaMarine - Try this intense aquatic boot camp that uses water resistance to enhance abdominal stability, increase aerobic endurance, and tone muscles. Forget what you think you know about aqua aerobics--these moves will have you sweating, even underwater!  A/B

*H2O Aerobics - Get wet! Water aerobics strengthens & tones every major muscle group without impact to the joints. A

Body Development

12th Street Sculpt- A body conditioning class designed to target individual muscle groups. Bands, body bars and weights are used to increase the effectiveness and intensity of the workout. B

Boot Camp Mania (Interval Mix) - Two workouts in one. Maximize your time, efforts and results with interval training. This combination of alternating intervals of body sculpting and aerobics promotes cardiovascular fitness, calorie bum, and muscular endurance. This class uses a variety of equipment including dumbbells, bands, body bars, steps, and stability balls. B

Butt & Ab Lab - Butt & Ab Lab: Dedicated to your lower half, work on improving your rear view and creating some serious midsection definition. A

Crossfit - Learn intense, highly functional movements that will break you out of any fitness rut and give you an intense and complete cardio and strength training workout!

Express Abs - Flatten and tone your abs with crunches, curls, and pelvic tilts. (20 minutes)  A

Get on The Ball - The brilliance and simplicity of the stability ball is rolled into one word - balance! Because the ball demands balance, you'll work muscles you never knew you had or challenge them in a different way. Added resistance from dumbbells, body bars and more are used in this class. A.

Muscle Attack – This class is designed to efficiently “attack” every muscle in your body! You’ll experience a variety of aggressive body development techniques from high to low reps to multitasking muscle moves. Flexibility and core strength work are integrated throughout. Barbells, dumbbells, stability balls and body resistance will be utilized to engage targeted muscle groups. B/C

Ranger Workout
A full body conditioning challenge that is guaranteed to give you an abdominal locking, thigh burning workout. B

Warrior Workout- Be a weekend warrior in this ultra challenging boot camp style class. Be prepared for cardio intervals and sculpting moves that will have you wishing for Monday! B/C

Cardio Conditioning

12th Street Cardio Sculpt -Crank up your workout with intervals of invigorating cardio and intense sculpting moves! A

Drop-In Dodgeball– Duck, dive, dip and DODGE your way to fitness with the most beloved of all playground games! Drop in on the game anytime during the hour.A

Express Tae Bo® – Your favorite Tae Bo® workout is now available in an Express format! This high energy combination of martial arts, boxing, and dance will make you break a sweat fast—you’ll get a challenging and effective cardio workout in just 20 minutes! A/B

*FusionFit Lite – As an addition to our “Easy Does It” line of classes, this “lite” version of the popular FusionFit offers a safe yet challenging full body workout that will give you a balanced, strong sculpted body– at any age or fitness level!

Step-A-Holics – Step addicts welcome! This high energy, heart pumping class uses creative step choreography to keep you moving and grooving to the beat of the music! No two classes are ever the same. B/C

Tae Bo®- Is the combination of Self-awareness and control of Martial Arts, the focus and strength of boxing and grace and rhythm of dance. Experience a powerful workout that will leave you feeling strong and energized. A

Core Strength & Balance

*Beginner's Pilates Mat - Learn the basic principles and movements of Pilates. The principles include proper breathing and spinal alignment, concentration, coordination and control. This class is essential for individuals new to Pilates. A

Core on the Ball - Develop flat, lean and hard abs! Core training teaches you to breathe effectively while challenging your stability on the ball. Create more power from the inside out, stand taller, and develop a longer leaner silhouette. (20 minutes) A

Pilates Mat - One of the most popular body conditioning techniques today, emphasizing centering the body and developing the strength of the abdominals and torso muscles. A

*Tai Chi - Often described as "meditation in motion", Tai Chi practices rhythmic patterns of movement that are coordinated with breathing. This combination creates a state of relaxation and can reduce stress, improve flexibility and increase energy. Using low-impact movements, Tai Chi can benefit people of all ages and fitness levels. A

Dance Fitness

Burn-It-Up–This super high energy fat burning cardio class will keep you moving to the sounds of today’s music. This class offers easy to follow moves that suit all levels of fitness for maximum calorie burning A

Cardio Dance–Have fun and work up a sweat using different forms of dance, from African to Irish to Hip-Hop and more! Improve your cardiovascular health and burn calories while dancing to the beat. A

Striptease Aerobics- You won’t lose your clothes, just your inhibitions. This scintillating workout will have you blushing as you learn sexy choreography that keeps your pulse high! A

Zumba®- Dance your way to a fitter you with exciting and unique Latin moves and rhythms. A


Yoga

Sunrise Yoga - Morning is the perfect time to awaken our bodies and center our minds. Begin your day with gentle yoga poses and stretches that energize your body, leaving you feeling balanced and focused. A

*Dao-Yin Yoga - Improve the flow of Chi energy throughout your entire body. Designed to realign the muscular and skeletal systems while increasing flexibility and strength. A

Vinyasa Yoga/Vinyasa Flow - A creative movement-based yoga class designed to increase strength and endurance. Focuses on correct body alignment, flexibility, and stress reduction. A

*Gentle Vinyasa - Appropriate for the beginner or for the experienced yoga practitioner who is seeking a relaxing rather than a rigorous yoga experience. A

Invigorating Vinyasa - Mindfulness and precision unite with movement and breath to create a physically challenging class that is appropriate for all levels. Hands on adjustments will help you discover a deeper connection with each posture. A/B

Power Yoga - A progressive vinyasa power yoga level class designed to develop strength, endurance, correct body alignment, flexibility and stress reduction through a series of sequencing postures. Prior experience in power yoga is recommended. B

Zen Yoga - A fluid nonstop sequence of athletic yoga based movements designed to simultaneously strengthen and stretch opposing muscle groups. This is a dynamic and invigorating full mind/body workout. A

* Easy Does It classes are for those who understand the necessity of exercise and cardiovascular fitness,
but require a lower intensity workout. The instructor emphasizes the special needs of active adults, the de-conditioned
or beginner exerciser, and/or the pre/post-natal woman. Excellent for those who are resuming an exercise program.

12TH STREET Gym Class Policies
1) Please do not enter the studio before the current class is finished.
2) Be on time. The warm-up is important to avoid injury.
    For safety reasons, do not enter a class if you are more than 10 minutes late.
3) Proper aerobic footwear is required.
4) Please inform your instructor if you are pregnant or have any limitations.
5) All equipment (steps, weights, mats, tubing and jump ropes) must be returned to their proper storage area.
6) No saving spaces before class begins.
